Description

I tried to open a week old saved file and i got this error

Steps to Reproduce

Just open a saved .ptm file

Expected Behavior

I expected my simulation to open normally

Thanks for reporting.

In V1.1 we now detect many more semantic scripting errors than we did previously. Only models that previously contained semantic errors will fail to load in V1.1. To recover such a model, you can either email us or follow the procedure below:

  1. Open the PTM file using 7zip
  2. Navigate to the /scripts directory
  3. For each script, right click and select Edit
  4. Copy the contents of the script into a new script file inside ProtoTwin
  5. Fix any errors
  6. Copy the fixed script back and save to update the file in the archive
